His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lamagave a public talk on Human Approach to World Peace on the 30th of September 2006 at 2 pm
Tibet’s exiled spiritual and temporal leader was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 for leading the non-violent Tibetan struggle for freedom from China. The Dalai Lama has lived in Dharamsala, India, since 1959 and shares his knowledge and wisdom on human approach - individually and globally - with the rest of the world. The visit, at the invitation of Finnish Tibetan Cultural Association and Service Centre for Development Cooperation (KEPA), was coordinated by the London-based Office of Tibet, the official agency of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for Northern Europe.
Prayer for the long life of H.H. the Dalai Lama: "You make the path that combines emptiness and compassion grow, Lord of the teachings and beings in the snowy land of Tibet, to you, the lotus holder Tenzin Gyatso, we pray: May all your wishes be spontaneously fulfilled!"
